  • Professor Paul MoayyediBSc, MB ChB, PhD, MPH, FRCP (London), FRCPC, FACG, AGAF

    Professor Paul Moayyedi qualified from Bristol University in 1988 and trained in Gastroenterology at Leeds’ General Infirmary, UK under the mentorship of Professor Axon.  He was awarded a PhD in 1999 and a Masters in Public Health in 2000, both from the University of Leeds.  He was appointed Professor of Gastroenterology Health Services Research at the University of Birmingham in 2001 and then moved to McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada to be the first recipient of the Richard Hunt/AstraZeneca Chair of Gastroenterology in 2004.  He became Director of the Division of Gastroenterology at McMaster in 2006.  Professor Moayyedi has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles and 15 book chapters.  He is a proponent of evidence based medicine and is the joint co-ordinating editor of the Upper Gastrointestinal and Pancreatic Diseases Cochrane Group.  He has been involved in the development of several national and international guidelines including the American Gastroenterology Association and the England and Wales National Institute of Clinical Excellence dyspepsia and the American College of Gastroenterology IBS guidelines.

  • Rear Admiral Robert Clark

    Robert is Chief Operating Officer of Leveraged Green Energy a US private equity fund and investor in APP. During his naval career Rear Admiral Clark was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal, two Legions of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal, six US Navy Commendation Medals and numerous other personal, unit and campaign awards.
